Katelyn Rigg

Katelyn Rigg, student at Stanthorpe State High School, is involved with the Wine Tourism couses available at her school. She enjoys the physical activity of growing and processing the grapes and can see the career pathways available in the Wine Tourism industry.

Michael Newbury

Nudgee College student, Michael Newbury, is a keen wine science student and believes the wine chemistry unit that has been developed for the gateway schools makes class more enjoyable. He can now see the relevance in learning subjects such as chemistry.

George Whitney

By being a border at Nudgee College, student George Whitney gets to experience a range of wine tourism related activites he would not otherwise be exposed to when living in Townsville. He is interested in a career in the wine tourism industry and will continue to participate in work experience opportunities.
