Erin Gallagher

“In my current role with the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries in the Sustainable Intensive Systems area, I have the flexibility to follow a project through right from the field work on-farm, to writing the final report, journal papers and presenting the results at international conferences,” Erin Gallagher says.

Rachel Bell

Now working with Landmark, Rachel says her Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Science, featuring a double major in equine science and animal production, has given her a great background in the agricultural industry and opened a variety of future career paths.

“I get to travel frequently in my job, mostly within Australia but I have been able to also travel to Europe and New Zealand,” she says.

Richard Murphy

After gaining a Certificate II in Business, Richard is now following his dream by studying towards a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in animal production at the University of Queensland’s Gatton Campus.

“I want to have my own business that will focus on improving cattle herds from paddock consulting to international export and import of genetics,” he says.

Brad Cooke

"Brad’s love for agriculture has led him to jobs in the dairy, cotton and grain industries while completing a Certificate IV in Agriculture.
“My current role is very frontline, managing daily operations with bulk grain movements including liaising with transport companies, storage providers and internal staff,” he says. Brad is currently working at Pacific Seeds as the Bulk Seed and Storage Manager.
